Our Basic Boat Handling Lessons build on your knowledge from the Learn to Sail Series and apply it to skippering and managing the boat. Please sign up for Learn to Sail if you have no experience.
Over the course of these lessons, you'll continue to develop these competencies:
- Finding the wind and steering a straight course
- Safety on board
- Tacking and gybing
- Single-handing the boat
- Docking under motor and under sail
- Crew overboard and emergency procedures
*Lessons have a 2-person minimum. Solo sailors may be rescheduled or can upgrade to a private lesson.
